Sails Restaurant & Bar is perfectly situated in one of the most beautiful spots in St. George’s, Grenada. Located right by the harbor, it offers stunning waterfront views where you can watch fish swimming and boats coming and going while you dine. During our visit, we were warmly welcomed and thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food. The restaurant’s interior and exterior settings were both beautiful, adding to the overall dining experience.

We tried a variety of dishes at the restaurant, but here are our favorites. The catch of the day is always our top choice for lunch. It’s grilled to perfection and served with garlic butter, making it incredibly delicious.

Another standout dish is the catch fillet. The freshly caught fish, served with a lemon garlic butter and herb sauce, practically melts in your mouth with its tenderness. We always pair it with a side of rice, which complements the dish perfectly and makes for a satisfying meal.

We also ordered the grilled chicken, which is served with a zesty tomato basil and an incredible ginger-infused sauce. This sauce perfectly complements the flame-grilled chicken, enhancing its smoky flavor with a touch of warmth and spice. The taste is rich and creamy, with the sauce adding a silky texture that makes each bite soft and satisfying. Paired with the tender, juicy chicken, it’s a dish that truly stands out.

Umbrellas Beach Bar is a beachfront restaurant located on our favorite beach in Grenada, Grand Anse Beach. With stunning views and a prime spot for sunset dinners, it’s a perfect place to unwind. The restaurant offers seating on two floors, providing a great vantage point for enjoying the picturesque surroundings. Each night, you can enjoy live music, featuring Caribbean beats and performances by local bands. We loved the food and atmosphere so much that it became our go-to dinner spot nearly every night during our stay.

The Caesar salad with grilled chicken was an excellent choice for a light yet satisfying dinner. The crisp Romaine lettuce provided a fresh and crunchy base, perfectly complemented by the creamy Caesar dressing that added just the right amount of tang and richness. The croutons brought a delightful crunch, contrasting nicely with the smooth texture of the shaved parmesan, which added a savory depth to the dish. The grilled chicken, tender and flavorful, tied everything together, making each bite a harmonious blend of flavors and textures that left you feeling nourished without being overly full.

The Grilled Fish of the Day is always a good choice, as it’s a fresh catch from the same day. Served with French fries, it’s absolutely delicious. The fish is grilled to perfection, with a tender, flaky texture that melts in your mouth. The subtle smoky flavor pairs beautifully with the crispy French fries, creating a satisfying and mouthwatering meal.

The Lighthouse Burger offers a delightful twist on the classic with its unique blend of flavors. The grilled pineapple adds a sweet, juicy contrast to the savory, perfectly seasoned beef, while the hot peppers bring just the right amount of kick. The homemade bread, soft yet sturdy, complements the burger’s rich textures, soaking up the BBQ sauce without getting soggy. Each bite is a satisfying explosion of sweet, spicy, and smoky flavors, making this burger not just a meal, but an experience worth savoring.

We tried something new that we hadn’t seen on the island before: a pumpkin dessert with caramelized banana and island spices. The cinnamon flavor was prominent, with the pumpkin baked to a crispy texture and the banana perfectly caramelized.

Every night, we enjoyed live music from a fantastic band. One evening, there was an artist with an amazing voice who sang like an angel. Her performance was truly captivating, and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire band’s music.
